Problems solved

It took two trips for the washing machine guys to come and fix the washing machine, but now its fixed... no more dirty laundry as an excuse. :P And the toilet, well, there was no 'real' problems with it, just that it was 'leaking', but the leaking is caused by contacted pressure, if there was no pressure, the water will form a 'dome' shape (convex shape, like your eye) on the tube, which gets broken if it was touched... thus 'leaks'... Just simply move the cap upwards prevented the water touching anything, thus it has equalised the pressure in the water, and it doesn't leak! Voila, instant solution, they didn't have to go and spend $2.75 on some rubber caps which didn't get used either... but I wasn't sure how much was spent on the washing machine, it has been with us for more than 15 years... and thats the first breakdown... they really know how to make it last back in those days...

yes, and you ever heard of a very cool stuff called 大同電鍋? if I could only have one cooker I'd just pick that. ( in fact we've got one in our kitchen here! ) the only problem is... -_-" I don't cook well...我對不起你, dear 大同電鍋!

hey, I believe ours is also an 大同電鍋!! :P Tatung, and it has broken down earlier this year, my dad took that apart and cleaned the bottom bit, it was all black... after making sure it contacted properly, hey presto! it works!. That cooker's more than 18 yrs old too, since we took it with us from Taiwan... Quite long lasting :)
