What the hell... @_@

I watched A.I Artificial Intelligence... I must say... WTF did I just spend 3 hours watching? Sure its interesting, but I stress again, WTF did I just waste my time for? Arggg I think it would've been better spent doing something else... Oh well... time for sleep (yeah I didn't do terribly much today... on Friday we moved the big laptop against a wall... and a big pallet of monitors fell over -_-. I swear I wasn't at fault, the forklift was stuck at the roller door, and then when it suddenly became unstuck, it pushed the pallet over... -_- serious I was glad that nobody was hurt... I was already tired from moving all those pieces of huge laptop, everybody else couldn't help me cos they didn't have a forklift license, so I had to do all the forklifting... in the end it was down to 42% capacity, which is why we had to do things quickly, and then probably thats why the forklift was stuck... I hope that they won't 'fire' me (but it might mean that I won't be full time permenant if they decide in the future...) Oh well there are plenty of fish in the sea... move to another field maybe... apart from computers and clothes, what else is there... :P On Saturday, I didn't do much, watched Van Helsing, even though it was crap to some people, I found it rather interesting and amusing. Today I didn't watch any movie, because I had other stuff to do. Like playing games. I am wasting my life slowly... :P Oh well... I'll never see A.I again... its very long, and not very interesting. And my mum said I had bloodshot eyes after I watched it... That means that it was boring me enough that I can afford to rub my eyes a bit.... -_-...

Hotmail to offer 250MB of free storage... So, so far I have a Gmail (1 gb), yahoo mail (0.1 gb), hotmail (soon to be 0.25 gb), and excite mail (soon to be 0.125 gb)... giving me a grand total of 1.475 gb in mail storage capacities... not that I have that many friends who forward stuff to me that I will use maybe even 20 mb... maybe now I would :D

Remeber way back when I had a overtime session to help dismantle some stands in the city? Well... there was also a huge polystyrene model of a laptop. And today it came back to the warehouse -_-. Unbelievable. We don't have the space. And it requires 4 people to do it well... we had 3 people, and now my wrists are sore.... apart from that, work was the usual. Busy, busy and dead busy. Even with 3 people the work seems to never stop. And I'm here blogging till near midnight... I must be crazy! good nite :P. Oh yeah CSI: Miami was ok... being burnt to death by fuel isn't... :P Last nite's CSI was interesting... the little girl was... PSYCHO. really evil psycho. :P Oh yeah I also got my first wedding invitation... Lucky its an aussie pal from my university days (not the same course, just knew from online and he happened to be at the same uni/campus). And its gonna be in Brazil in July... I don't think I will have time to go there. So yeah... its good news from him :) But today I recieved a letter... its my debt to the govt, for studying all those years... Yep, I owe the govt $16,351. This was up $383 from last year, stupid 2.4% increase... -_-... If I pay $14,218 I will receive a 15% bonus of $2133... but next year the bonus will only be 10%, so have to pay more. And I don't even have that $$ at all! Oh well I guess I'll be paying maybe a couple more year's interest... *gulp*

Another day...

Another day... This time with a 3rd person around really does lighten the load... We did most of the incoming stuff... then we had quite a lot of outgoing stuff... since they weren't finished... but nowhere near the record yesterday... still it was around 15 air road, and 15 aae... rest of the day just did the transfer stuff... usual stuff... then in the end of the day one of the marketing guys asked if one of us had some time to help... I volunteered... basically just waited outside in the cold car park with the boss's car... had to put some stuff in his trunk (I assure you it was a very nice car... and me and marketing guy didn't do anything bad to it) and so was waiting while he went to get the stuff... so left late... anyways... got a movie... Around the World in 80 Days... strange its bigger than one CD... hmmmm... oh well need to recode it to a smaller size maybe... hmmm... (yeah it was bigger than one CD... thus I made a coaster because it couldn't fit...) :P ah... sleep time....

What A BLOODY CRAZY DAY! :P Seriously me and my friend, we've outdone ourselves. A big day. Started out knowing we'll be delivering close to 20 boxes... but more like we delivered over 50... In the beginning the 20 boxes were from Friday (see Friday's post) and well, we didn't even touch them to start with, since we had no addresses. But we started off delivering 12 big boxes to the city... on 3 pallets. Then another staff asked us to pickup some boxes from all over the city... so that came in during the afternoon... around 10, but thats in, not out. The afternoon saw the guy who used to work on fridays come in to help us out, since we've been innundated with all these stuff... in, out, transfers... blah blah blah. Even had some circulating stock returned, which need to be taken care of... overall the morning was ok. Then when we looked at our watches, it was already 12:45. So we wolved down our lunches (because people still came in at our lunchtime just to give us more stuff to ship out) and then started on the Friday stuff... That was done. Then, the same guy wanted 5 of these medium sized boxes delivered. So that was done too. Then this woman wanted another 5 medium boxes elsewhere. So that was done. Then another woman wanted 8 boxes to go somewhere. So they were done... 50 boxes already... then there were the normal delivery boxes that we usually do, but since we were too busy, we let the Friday guy do it, there were around 10 boxes there... so... overall around 60 boxes delivered out today. between 3 people, thats around 30 boxes each... crazy... no wonder we're both rather dead... (thinking about those boxes still left... *shudders* too much! argggg) :P

Big Green Sink

I had a haircut over the weekend. Then, that was the excitement of the weekend. Till my dad went shopping and saw this green bench + sink + taps + water head. He asked if they were throwing it out. They said they'll sell it to him for $20. So, $20 was exchanged. And now we have this green sink in our backyard. It'll be used beside the gas stove... but it means will have to have a bench set up or something, cos needless to say, its bloody heavy. And GREEN. Oh well it can be painted.

Hahaha yeah its not a mistake :P Basically work was normal today...till one of the marketing guys wanted to send stuff out. Promotional merchandise. He came down at around 3pm and well... basically wanted to send stuff out... 14 different places. Each contains around 20 sports bags, 10 Water bottles, 30 square notepads, 10 big notepads, 10 key rings, 20 squish stress balls, 5 travel mugs and 20 cd wallets. Thats a pretty big box... and half of the boxes were small, so had to fit them into 2... so there was around 20 boxes... all big... and we finished at 6:30... but wrote the overtime to 7:00pm... :P cos its a friday night... hehehe yeah extra 1/2 hour OT pay... woohoo :P but now am tired, even after drinking a cup of coffee after dinner... but then coffee really has no effect on me... oh well :P

My Mum's run-in with the Law...

Imagine this... if u had a fone number to call... xxxx yyyy, you would pick up the fone and dial xxxx yyyy. But not my mum. She dialled xxxx, then amazingly, she dialled xxxx again. So the connected fone number was xxxx xxxx. Now, she was trying to call some friends to deliver some zhong zhi (rice dumplings), and instead called the Parramatta Police. Needless to say she wasn't making the next call, my bro made the call for her. And then around 5pm my bro called home... guess what, he locked the car keys in the car. -_-"". Its a comedy of errors, these two family members :P Needless to say me and the other bro and dad cooked the rest of the food and then ate... they came back around 7... hahaha :P

Weeeeeeeee... long weekend baby :P

Its been a tiring day. Finished off all the RAs... then... did all the delivery and ins and outs from service... then guess what... this lady from upstairs was pestering all afternoon about a shipment from the other warehouse... ended up pestering us so that we didn't close at 5:30, she said the shipment was gonna be there at any time. Well guess what, it never came, and we wasted 1/2 an hour for nothing. Thanks alot. It'll arrive on tuesday, since Monday's a holiday. Ahhhh get to sleep in :P Other than that, not much... got to destroy some more boards... fun fun... I've made it into an art now... aim once, strike once, dead board. :D I'm too good :P (actually I'm too bored... :P). I need to get some blank CDRs... my HDD is getting less and less... need to burn something now :P

Hehe work was ok... then there was a guy who needed to get rid of broken parts. He needed them to be really broken, broken so much that anybody who picks it up can't help but to throw it away. So, he tried to stomp on the parts. Except that they were pretty durable. So, in the end it was the hammer. Since he had better things to do than to smash the boards all afternoon, he gave me the job of doing it. I think its a form of "anger management"... fun, bashing the bits off the boards, and the lenses of the CD Drives... Then he had the idea, probably it was on everybody's minds... to use the forklift... (That reminded me of a scene back many many years ago, when the chinese govt. had a crackdown on pirated CDs... running them over with a steamroller... *sobs*). Thus I rolled over a "test" board... the results weren't so good... it was flattened, but it might still be useable. And by that time we had around 4-5 people gathered around, including the service manager... so we didn't use the forklift to run them over... I did it all by hand. In the end over 50 boards got destroyed... fun :P Destroying the boards was essential because the auditor is coming tomorrow... thats why there's this cleanup going on throughout the organisation... we cleaned up the warehouse to the best of our abilities... looks pretty clean :D

Days off blogging

Ah... many days without blogging. Other than going back to my old job, which is good (I get to use the forklift everyday now... woohoo :P) and basically my supervisor is away at the other warehouse sorting things out till maybe the big move... the service supervisor walks around measuring space to see if the new warehouse will fit it all... I think this warehouse is very small indeed... but anyways... nowdays I go sleep around 11:30 and I wake up around 6am... damn my body clock's been f*cked up... I try to go back to sleep and usually I can't... sometimes I do, wake up for 7:45am :) Meanwhile now two people that I know online are going to spend their lives doing charity work. Thats like... strange. Must be because Venus transit the sun or something, making everybody feel the love... ah doesn't matter, I just hope they are alright (seems to be problems here and there..) Anyways, nothing new to report as yet... and its near bed time too... laters...

Last day at the t shirt company...

Yeah, I got the fone call while I was picking clothes. Didn't know who it was from, and I didn't think that they would call during work... but anyways, I go back to my previous work. As a full time casual for 3 months. And on lower pay. At least it's a little closer. Yay. So after making friends for about a month, I leave them again to go back to something which offers me a bit more excitement than just t shirts. Woohoo :P

Boring

Hmm... been a boring and tiring day... did basically just the boxes again. Why? I dunno. They just don't have the capability of letting people do what they need to do. Of course, half of them don't have a forklift license, the other half are just employed to move boxes... I don't know what the hell is going on, its just a mess. Anyhow, I've sorta became the 'mini reference guide' around... especially to the new people. They come up and ask me where things are because... I simply put away most of the bloody boxes... -_- That does get annoying, especially when the sheets are still of the old style, where they have to look at the map to see where things are. But its ok, I can survive. When there are stuff that they say 'exists' but doesn't really 'exist' (i.e still stuck on some pallet somewhere with other junk...) then thats when problems occur, and well, its a problem they won't get fixed anytime soon. Also apparently my ex company's wh boss tried to call me, but I think he called the wrong number, since I didn't get any missed calls (I think if it's my problem... then I have no idea... but I can spend some $$ to buy a new phone now :P but I won't...)

Hmmm nothing interesting happening. Finally we finished around 95% of all the boxes... there are many 'deleted' items which has no shelf location yet... but yeah, I think my hands being sandpaper are gonna be over... slowly of course... and thus I started picking clothes today... oh what fun :P I rubbed some sobolene (not sure about the spelling) on my hands... feels oily... meant to be a moisturiser... hmmm... hopefully my hands will recover faster with this... Also got two movies... one I've watched when it came out (The Day After Tomorrow), and the other one (Shrek 2) which isn't out in Aus yet... :P ah... work is so tiring :P I hope that BQ will offer the job to me soon... can't take any more of the internal bickering and complaining at the current place... apparently the new secetary left after 1 week... that was after 2 weeks of training... -_-;; how sad was that... I think this place is only held together by greed and more greed. The customers put an order in, and expect to pick it up in 1 hour's time... WTF? no way... theres like about 50 orders before theirs, and they want to get it asap... the turnaround time is around one day + courier delivery... so yeah... the customers start bitching to the secetary and receptionists... and they can't really handle abuse well... thus they don't wanna stay... oh well... I don't plan to stay for long either...
